Default Wax/polish VetteStripes?

I recently had a VetteStripes vinyl stripe kit put on my car. Now I'm wondering how these should be cared for. Do you wax or polish them the same as the paint, or do they need some special care?

I also want to ask specifically about turtlewax ice polish. I've used it on my vette and am pleased with the results but I have silver vettestripes on now. the label from the bottle became unglued from the container pretty quickly as some of the ice got on it, its one of those things that can seep under and unglue stuff making it fall off. that would be awful if that happened to my strips!I know the vinyl adhesive is good and designed to last, I know you can wax over the strips without any problems, but do I have anything to worry about using the liquid ice polish?

We usually only wax the stripes, when it comes to polishing, you should only use a glaze or very mild polish. If you'd like you can try this: http://detailingdynamics.net/Merchan...tegory_Code=DC
Its been one of our leading products for almost 12 yrs now.

Make sure to tape the edges of the stripes when polishing or waxing. Once the polish/wax builds up at the edge, its almost impossible to clean it without scratching the paint. If you do get some wax/polish at the edge of the stripe, then I would recommend using "Plexus"

Thanks for the replies, all.

I "waxed" it for the first time today, using Zaino All-In-One. It seemed to come out fine. We'll see how it looks in the show tomorrow. Pics when I can.
