Default Anyone know who sells Mother's metal polishing foam ball kits at a reasonable price?

Stopped by Checker's today and they wanted $24.95 for either size kit, and $21.95 for the small ball refills. I've got to believe they're cheaper than that somewhere else. All they are is a small rod and some cut foam. Tell me it ain't so! Thanks!

I cannot beat the price, well maybe with forum discount, but shipping cost would prevent the benefit. I would suggest waiting for a bigger order, and for wheels consider the mini (I have both and find it easier to use especially in small spots).

Thanks for the comeback. I appreciate it. You have a great website with really good info on it. I picked up a miniball kit at Walmart yesterday for $19.42. Still amazed at the price for what the kit consists of, but if it works, probably well worth it. I plan on trying it with Wenol metal polish. I've had good luck with that stuff. I'll be looking you up in the future for products, you have some great stuff! Walmart was just a little easier this time around.

I understand and appreciate any visit or referral. I find the Mothers Powerpolish Aluminum (for metal uncoated wheels) a nice polish at retail and Wenol is great also. Just remember to wash out the Powerball after each use and you'll have many additional uses. Mine are about 2 years old and used frequently on Iforged Wheels.

If you are using on OEM wheels, please becareful as GM coated them and should be treated like paint not metal. You can still use the Powerball, but with paint polishes only. Not sure of your use but dont want to see you harm factory wheels.

I have aftermarket Z06-style, non-clearcoated, polished aluminum wheels. What I have usually done is use Wenol on them, and, when finished, use a paint polish to seal the wheels. It's been working pretty well, but is a lot of work to do by hand. I expect to get a lot quicker, and better, polishing job with the Mother's ball.
