Default My Makita Rotary Buffer is D.O.A.!

I think the cord is to blame as I buffed part of my Honda Civic last week.

Is it difficult to put a new cord on there?

Has anyone done it? Details?

Thanks

I've put cords on lots of powertools. Not that hard to do. Just lay things out in order as you take t apart and it's pretty self explanatory.
