Default Removing isolated scratches

Got a couple of very thin 6" to 8" clear coat scratches. You can not feel the scratch with your nail. These most likely came from a dirty mitt when washing. I tried Meguiars Scracch X and Scratch Doctor with no success (unless I'm working it wrong). Couple of thin coats of Zaino Z5 does not fill them.

I don't really want to pull out a 4 inch pad on my UDM to work on a scratch that is as wide as a human hair. How have you guys got rid of these kind of these pesky things? Thank you

The only way to remove them Paulie is going to involve your UDM and some polish strong enough to break down the edges of the scratches in your clear coat. You can fill them with glaze and wax and look the other way or, you can polish them out.......

It's up to you, take your pick......

If you've got the stuff and they are minor like you said, it's not that difficult. After the area has been washed and it's clean, polish them out.

Easy money Paulie.......

Good luck......

Why have a polisher if you're not going to use it?
Orange pad with polish, white pad with polish, then Z5.
Should be a simple fix.
Good luck.

Just polish ti out with something like 1.06FF or SIP. It's not going to hurt anything, Ill actually polish my car 1-2 times a year depending on the needs.
