Default Clear 3M Bra

In the Spring I am thinking of having a 3M invisible bra installed on my 2008 Corvette. Can you please tell me any advantages or disadvantages of doing this and what if anything I should look out for.
Thank you.

Search the forum. There are hundreds of posts on this. 3M is clear coated and thicker than my Avery-Dennison product which is not clear coated. Installer is the key and ask for referrals. Check at high end car dealers for leads to installers and evidence of their handiwork. Get any guarantees in writing. You'll be reading until after Christmas on this one. Cheers.

Thanks for the advice I just got done reading 7 pages on this topic I should have done so prior to my posting. I will definitely seek out referrals as I am not comfortable with the resource here in Rochester, NY the Tint Shop without some referrals and seeing some examples of their work.

I have the 3M clear bra on one of my cars (not a Vette), and it's excellent stuff. The big secret is preparation and quality of installation...otherwise it can look like crap.

Make sure you use an experienced installer. Mistakes show up like a billboard.

It also depends on the color of your vette. Black is the one color (or any dark blue) that will show the most flaws in a 3M clear bra installation. Other colors won't show nearly as much. No installation is perfect but find someone near you that has plenty of experience and knows his/her films.
