Dri-wash is just another multi-level marketing scam-ola! The product itself is kind of a watered-down cheap liquid wax gunk. They try to sell it for $$ too! I would stay away from it. Use something like Formula 113 X-Bead (which I know is great stuff and I swear by it). Or you could try some of the Zaino stuff that everyone else here is so nuts about. I'm not a big fan of the Meguiars Detail spritz although I talked to Barry Meguiar at a show and he told me they had tweaked the formulation and gave me some samples. It did work better than the previous version of their spritz, but I still prefer the Bead-X. If your car is really dirty, you're gonna have to wash it. Did you ask the Dri-Wash guy how to clean filthy brake dust from your wheels. That always gets 'em. For certain things, you just need the flushing action of water and the agitation of a soft brush or washmit. If your car just has a little dust on it or a few bugs, fingerprints, or smudges, then a good spritz product can give you excellent results in very little time. Just don't try to use it after you've been to the Monster Truck Mud-Bog Spectacular!

I purchased and extensively tested "Dri Wash -n- Gard." It does not appear to have an abrasive effect, but it does have powerful chemical cleaners. I would NEVER use it as advertised in lieu of soap and water wash- I can't even image how bad this would be on our soft C-5 paint. It does leave a very slick shine- but the shine is quckly gone after being in rain or a water wash. The problem using it as a quick detialer is it strips the base coat wax.
Having said that, however, it does have a place in my arsenal of detailing supplies. I find that it does a great job cleaing and shining in "high dirt" areas like rocker panels, wheel well lips, etc. and underhood. (To be honest- I only use it on my non-C5 cars- my Vette never gets dirty enough to use it1)
Bottom line- DRG is a "special purpose" utility product- not a substitue for good, basic wash and shine technique!
