The tube I have says "Goodwrench Silicone Grease Dielectric". One fluid oz. PN 12345579. I think I originally got the number out of the C5 owners manual under Car Care Section/Weatherstrip lube. Hope this helps, Paul.

Paul,

Thanks. I picked up a tube from my local dealer this afternoon. I think I will try Mid America in the future. One 1oz tube was $14! I have also burned up about half of that tube doing one door and both front and back of the Targa roof opening.

Thanks again!

I hope not.

The stuff I bought is a grease instead of a spray, I don't know if that makes a difference, but it might.

The one thing I try to avoid is products that have petrolium distilates in them when I look for a weatherstrip lubricant. I am sure someone here knows the full scoop on this.

I think the complaint with the silicone for weatherstriping is not the silicone but rather the propellent used to get it there...possibly a petroleum distillate? :chevy
...also...Krytox and Dialectric Grease are 2 different things...Krytox is the best but very expensive...I think 30 some bux for a 3 ounce tube. Someone once mentioned that it was available at bike stores as well (thatz bicycle) :yesnod:
