Default ICE - Turtle wax - man, this is fast and pretty good

Just polished the C6 in the hot sun! This ice stuff is super easy and shines very well (not zaino or Rejex etc...) but perhap 80% of the shine and it only takes 15 min! The polish is clear so it acts like back to black on the plastic and rubber. Seams? Blow right over them no worries about clean up. XM wart wax white marks -gone. Lower black plastic - black again. I give it two lazy man's thumbs up

hey - thanks for the post.
it's good to know of any product out there that works well on trim, and will not cause staining of trim. I know of very few products like this.

I think this is often overlooked, but a vital piece of information when you select your sealant -- just because if you have to take all the time to slow down around trim, tape trim, and remove stains, you have just added another 45 minutes or hour to your detailing regimen. So it sounds like you've got a product that avoids this, making application far quicker.

BTW, there has been general agreement that the following product lines do not stain trim:
  1. Turtle wax ICE
  2. Rejex - but two members report mild stains on textured trim
  3. Zaino

I'm trying to keep a running list, but that's all I've come up with in the past three years. I'll stay tuned for "trim-friendly" sealants. (insert adult-only joke here).

Hey bugman:

Forumla 113 is a wax that does not stain trim also. It does a GREAT job but lacks a bit in the longevity department. I've been all over the place with Meguiars, 113, Zaino.....they all have their pluses and minuses it seems.

Does it go on as easy? Hard to believe that there is an enhancement to this product. I am living in Germany - we are always behind the latest and greatet. Ocassionally I have access to the best. Glad to help out for either automotive and MOTORCYCLE support. I've probably shipped 30K in BMW motorcycle stuff for friends...
