What coating is on Z06 wheels?

I have a 2002 Z06 with stock (non-chrome) wheels. Are they considered coated, anodized, painted with clearcoat, or what? I want to use a metal polish on them, but not sure that's even appropriate.

they are painted and clearcoated ... so use nothing more than a paint polish on them. (never metal polish)

I have the same wheels and treat them just like my paint. I usually apply a thin coat of wax a few times a year to keep the clear coat protected. Other than that I simply wash and dry them just like the finish on the car
