Default How Many Towels?

How many towels on average do you use to dry off your vette after washing it?

Just one waffle-weave micro fiber to get a few spots, and that is after i use the sheeting action rinse with the hose and blow it off with the leaf blower.

3 to 4 100% Cotton bath-sized. It seems to be dependant upon humidity.

I do the same, but I use a little bit of QD when I wipe off the last few spots.

I started http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1733659 while in search of a recommendation for a quality wash mit.

After reading this thread I have a few questions about Micro Fiber and how many new towels I should get.

Should I be using MF to whipe away the Zaino after applying it according to the instructions?

Have most of you found the MF Waffle to be the better drying towel?

Does MF (when used properly) reduce or eliminate the fine scratches that occur during washing and waxing? i.e. micro scratches and swirls...

Thanks!

you can use MF towels to successfully remove all sealants. We offer a towel called the Indigo which has a little nap. It helps to remove polishes and sealants quickly without swirling.

WW MF Towels have little pockets that can hold a tremendous amount of water. Still as soft as silk, meaning less chance of scratching but the WW also helps to avoid streaking. WW MF Glass Towels do the same for glass, and rid yourself of common streaking also.

A MF towel can help to reduce swirls and scratching. Good common practices when washing and drying are the best means of attack. Dont use circles, make sure plenty of lubrication, and good clean water and towels. If you drop the towel, grab another. Wash the towels seperately from other laundry and you'll be amazed at just how nice MF towels are.

Thanks![/QUOTE]

One (1) leaf blower, then one (1) 100% cotton towel with Z6 (approx. 15" x 18") and is barely damp when done.

One Adams waffle mf drying towel, sometimes two if it's really humid.

Then two Adams mf polishing towels for the detailing afterward.
