Water Spots on New Paint Job
My wife's 93 Camry received a new paint job (metallic green) about a week ago. The paint looks great and I was told by the painter to hold off applying any waxes/sealants for a period of two weeks Unfortunately, my wife parked the car too close to the neighbors sprinklers and the car now has water spots on the lower 1/3 portion of the hood and the front bumper
I washed the car yesterday but the spots are still there.
What is the recommendation to remove the water spots? Will a 50/50 mixture of distilled water and vinegar solve the problem? Is it safe to use that mixture on new paint?
Thanks,
Mordi

Water spots can be tough to remove some times. I would start out with the vinegar and water but you will probably need to use a mild paint cleanser or swirl remover and a ROB to remove them. Not to scare you but I have seen some severe cases that have actually etched the paint that require wet sanding to fix the problem.
