Default M3 for the track, finished with Z2pro

I got to help Bret out on this one. Lee and Bret had done a M5 a few weeks ago, same owner for the M3.

As you can tell by the drop and tow hooks, this M3 is setup for the track. Loads of suspension work, ducts for brake cooling, ect.

Process:
Wash duragloss carwash
clay with Z-18 claybar and Z6 as a lube, wipedown with WW towel.

Bret used Optimum compund with a yellow pad rotary on his side.
I used EC/OP mix yellow CCS pad rotary on the other.
We both used ZPC white LC pad PC6
Z6 wipedown
3x Z2pro with ZFX.

Wheels where very dusty due to the hawk pads.
wash w/ old wash mit
Bret hit the hard to reach areas with a small brush

Tires got scrubbed and some Z-16 applied.

Before:

After polishing:

After Z2pro, as you can see its starting to get dark out.

Can't complain about having both of these in your garage:

The M5 was done with ZPC and Z2pro a few weeks ago.

In this pic the M3 has its track wheels/tires on.

Nice Beemers.

I just ordered my wife a 335i in Space Gray. We can't wait to get it, expecting delivery in April sometime.

Thanks Frank!

Can't wait to see the 335i after you give it a full zaino treatment.

I know, I can't wait to see it either. It is Space Gray just like all of the press release cars with black Dakota Leather and Gray Poplar burl trim. Also went with the sport package etc...

It will be my first car that is not black in a long time. I am also amazed at the 300hp/300tq which is actually better than the outgoing M3. It also comes detuned from the factory and for 1300 bucks you ca get a proceded tuner that will bump those numbers up by like 70 with like only 15 minutes worth of work. Pretty amazing stuff.

The only negative I can come up with is I will have to break down and get some new wheels and snows come next winter.
