Need tips on cleaning under the hood
All -
It's been a while since I've cleaned under the hood. Any suggestions?
What do you guys do? I'm thinking about hosing the engine bay down and then using some Simple Green.
Thanks,
kris

What year is your Vette? While you are certainly free to use whatever you like under the hood, I do not think highly of Simple Green. I have seen the damage that it can cause. Unfortunately, many owners are not aware of how damaging Simple Green can be until it is too late.

Please advise as to what you use as I am thinking of doing this also.

Believe it or not, I do not use anything stronger than a cheaper microfiber towel(s), medical swabs and water. The microfiber are effective at cleaning, and the water is neutral. My engine and entire engine area are very clean using this simple method. I show the car, and am very meticulous, so it must be clean by my standards.
Were you trying to remove/clean something specific that you feel requires something aggressive?
