The shine is the best that I've seen and it lasts two to three weeks -- fading gradually over time.

Are you talking wheels or tires. If tires I hate the "shiny" artificial look. A nice matte black tire treatment like Z16 is more to my liking. Just IMO of course...

Are you polishing the wheel or the "clear coat"?

Meguiar's Insane Shine is a TIRE coating:

NXT Generation™ Insane Shine Tire Coating

NXT Generation Insane Shine is the ULTIMATE in high gloss for tires - a deep, dark, “insane” wet look that is fast and easy…just spray and walk away. Engineered Synthetic Polymers (ESP) combined with specially designed antiozonants create a mirror-like shine that prevents browning and premature aging.

The only problem is pitching. I use Meguiars' Hot Shine and it looks great. But even 24+ hours later, when I go for a drive it pitches off onto the side of the car. Drives me nuts. Is all over the wheel wells, too. I've started using Meguiars Endurance--an old bottle, btw. It shines almost as nicely and doesn't pitch off if you let it dry for awhile. Also, it lasts far longer than the Hot Shine. I may even break down and buy a new bottle!

I just use armoral high gloss spray bottle and wipe on with a folded over work rag. I polish the chrome rims with a damp or dry cloth car towel. No pitching off on fenders.

those high gloss shine for tires look great but once you drive it they usually get all over the sides of your car.

It holds up fairly decent. 1-2 weeks. It's VERY shiny. Actually it was too much for my taste, but if you like very shiny, you'll love it.

A few tips for application
Make sure the tires are TOTALLY dry before applying it.

Don't apply it directly to the tires. Spray it on an applicator then wipe it on.

To try to cut down on slinging, apply it with the applicator in a few light coats instead of one heavy coat. If you put on one heavy coat it's going to be all over the place after a short drive.

Yes, it's a good product.
You should try both: Insane Tire Shine, Endurance Tire Gel.
Depending on whether you want a quick spray product that is easy, or a gel that you apply with an applicator sponge (will get a better result and longer lasting). Good to have both in the garage.

I'm always changing my tastes. For a while now I've really gravitated toward the Zaino Tire Treatment. I found out that These really make all the difference - if I apply with the Eagle One Tire Swipes, they give the nice matte dark black look that ZaneO always seems to get on his cars .

They only cost $3, and MUCH better results than just using a rag or old sponge like I used to do.

I have used it. In my opinion using an applicator to apply it defeats the purpose of the product which is designed to spray, and walk away.

It's decent, shiny, but not as durable as more shine less time which is a similar spray product (although not as shiny).

Most definitely - if you settle on a spray product, spray it. But for the endurance tire gel, or Zaino Z16, those $3 applicators make all the difference. Once I got them, I don't really see an advantage to using spray, because they apply the other products so easily and I don't get any on the wheels this way.

What ever happened to Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel.
It is fantastic. I use it on all of the rubber and Vinyl on my Jet Ski. and It lasts.
Also the abrason boots on my airplane, it turned them back to absolute black.

It's still out there. Great stuff. If you can't find it locally you can order at Meg's web site.

I love that stuff. Not only do I use it on tires, but exterior trim as well. I love the grape smell of it!
