Default What is compatible with Zanio

I have a 06 C6 and have just about used up the Zanio I ordered. I have used nothing else and was wondering what is compatible with Zaino. I might like to try another product but do not know what harm I might do to the nice finish I have now. Is Zanio a glaze, polish micro polymer ???? I like Zanio and the results but also like choice. What can I safely put over it. I used Z #2pro #6 and #7.
Thanks

Zaino Z5 Pro and Z2 Pro are sealants.

Are you talking about compatibility with other waxes/sealants or what?

You can use other soaps and quick detailers with it as long as they don't contain carnauba.

Go to your local True Value Hardware store, and pick up a bottle of RejeX. It's also a sealant with great durability and protection properties as Zaino

pretty much all other washes you find in walmart will be ok with your zaino finish. I sometimes use NXT wash if I'm in a jam and don't have Z7. But I find that they don't give the nice gloss that z7 will leave.

you can also use Meguiar's quick detailer on your zaino finish and it will do no harm.

But when it comes to applying sealant layers over Zaino you'll go to Zaino Hell for that. You need to make a decision : Zaino or no-Zaino. Putting Turtle wax over zaino will do no harm, but 1 month later when you want to put on a coat of Z2, you'll want to do a dawn wash and maybe an alcohol rubdown to make sure all the turtle wax is off so that your zaino can bind again. So it really makes no sense to me to mix your sealants - make a decision now and stick with it.

Thank you for the replies.
I can use other detailer but no waxes over Zanio.
I will use RejeX. Thanks, got to get around to buying some.

But are there similar sealants that I can safely try over the Zanio???

I do not want to be banished from the land of Zanio. It is a wonderful and shiny place. I was just wondering if the formula was interchangeable with another brand?

Sealants bond best to a bare surface. I don't really recommend layering sealants over different sealants.

P.S. It's spelled Zaino.

I've seen posts of a few members here that have used RejeX over Zaino with great results. Hopefully they can chime in and post their experiences once again.

Besides bonding issues, you can have some major streaking and blotching problems if you combine two sealants that were not made to be used together. Then you're stuck removing everything and starting all over again.

Best to stay with one line of products that were meant to be used together. Or use a combination that is well-published with proven results, like Klasse all-in-one and Pinnacle Souverain. Otherwise you're experimenting on your own, and you may waste a lot of time just to end up with streaks and blotches.

One word of caution. If you use somthing with cleaners in it you will remove the Zaino. Food for thought?

I would not mix sealants together, use one or the other.

This occurs with any product.
