Default Store bought car care products

I've run into alittle bit of a bind. A neighbor of mind at school wants me to detail his car this week but all of my Zaino stuff is at home 4 hours away. For what hes willing to pay its worth it to go buy all new stuff for the job. What are the best
Washes (soap)
Polishes
Claybars
Sealer (what zaino calls polish)
Waxes
Microfiber towels
and Washing Devices (ie sponges) that are availible IN STORES. (ie autozone walmart pepboys Costco and the like) I just dont have the time to get microfiber towels and zaino shipped to me for this job. I dont want this to turn into a "this is waaaay better then this" discussion, I'm just not up on whats availible in stores these days. Thanks soo much

If you just need some OTC products look at either Mothers or Meg's. They both sell a full line of products that you listed and they're available at most autoparts stores as well as Wal-mart.

I like Pepboys, the one near me has an awesome selection.

I'll try to answer them all that I know.

Washes (soap).... Dawn (anywhere)
Polishes..... Meg's Polish or Paint Cleaner (step 2 and 3) (pepboys or autozone)
Claybars Mother's Claybar (pepboys or autozone)
Sealer (what zaino calls polish)....???store brand sealers???
Waxes.... NXT (pepboys or autozone)
Microfiber towels..... Target has a good product called VROOM, 6 or 12 packs.

Good luck.

You might get lucky and find Klasse All In One but if not, I would go with Liquid Glass. It will go head-to-head and outlast just about everything on the shelf. Liquid Glass and an armload of Mothers products will get the job done and make you look good.

Go with Mothers new Reflections sealant and Mothers claybar. I would also use 3M 39009 polish.

I highly recommend Zymol Wax Cleaner. Outstanding stuff. Give it a try and tell me later
I think it will work good with any of the recommended products above. Good luck!

Mother's Reflections will be the way to go OTC. Mother's also has good soap, QD, tire dressing, towels, etc.

I have found ZYMOL Wax Cleaner,
Turtle Wax F-21 Protectant, & turtle wax "ZipWax" car wash to be the best store bought products.

GS

Question for you. I've seen this mentioned a few times and was curious. Are you using the Zymol cleaner/wax in the blue bottle that they sell at stores such as Walmart which contains Carnauba ? Or are you using the Zymol wax cleaner which is a true cleaner and contains no wax ?

Check True Value and see if they have Rejex, one of the top OTC products.

I guess that qualifies it as an OTC product. You're right, I've never thought of it that way, perhaps because it's cheaper to get it online than it is locally.
