Default Keeping my LT4 Clean?

I finally bought a ‘96 LT4. (Been searching for years) I was lucky enough to find one with 36K
and the motor is the cleanest I have ever seen. I'm wondering what is the best way that I can keep
it clean? I read in the manual that the Chevrolet dealership has a wash but I would like to find
something I can do myself without killing my opti?

Other than going to the new MSD Optispark (sealed unit) do not use pressurized water.

I have found that on any engine, it is easier to clean weekly than annually. Use some watered down APC on greasy parts. Use some Klasse AIO on painted parts, and use some 303 Protectant on lines and rubber surrounds. Considered compressed air for dirty corners with sand, and a toothbrush and cotton swabs for corners.
