Waxing

Hi guys two things. First i wanted to see how often you guys wax ur vette. And second, can u wax a car to much. I normally wax the vette everytime i wash it, and i wash it twice a week or so. Thanx and have fun!

It's a daily driver and it has many miles put on it. I just happen to like my vette looking perfect when i drive it. But can anyone answer this?

Wash and wax about once every 3 or 4 weeks.

The only way you can "over wax" is by using a wax with cleaners and/or abrasives.

If you're using a quality wax/sealant (after proper prep work) and good washing/drying techniques and supplies, you shouldn't need to wax that often.

Try using a "spray detailer" after every wash and cut your waxings down to maybe ...every other week? They will give you the "slick feel" and only take a few minutes to apply with a plush microfiber. Use the search engine on this site for ...spray detailers.
