I have used this for years and when used properly it does not overshine or sling... I find it the best over any other product...and I have tried them all...

After spraying, I wait a minute then wipe the tire with a cloth to remove or redistribute any excess. It leaves my tires with a dark black semi-gloss finish.

I use a product call CoverAll. Comes in a bright blue can. Goes on similar to Stoner's More Shine Less Time but gives a high gloss finish. I like it because it sprays on fairly evenly. The only place that sells it that I can find is O'Reilly's auto parts.

A detail of any kind is not complete without dressing the tires. There are *tons* of dressings that don't sling or run, and they're available in a variety of appearances from no shine to very high shine. Applying with a tire swipe is also very helpful.

I have used DuPont Tire Shine. I spray it on the tires and let it do its thing. I then start on my wheels, wash and wax my car, and by the time I'm done, the tires are good with no lingering spray anywhere.
After a week, the tires still look healthy. I've used Armor-All Foam Tire stuff, but it's too shny for my taste, slings alot and doesn't last as long.
You can dramatically reduce the slinging action if you apply any tire cleaner with a sponge, and carefully inspect your work.

yes, there are many good products that don't sling.
Both are great. Zaino is the more subtle product. Meguiars a more dramatic high gloss.
- zaino tire treatment
- Meguiars gold class endurance tire gel

How long have you been doing this?
