Default Window Tint Glue Removal.

How do you remove window tint glue? I peeled off all the tint from my rear hatch window pretty easily but the whole window is still covered in glue. Any ideas?

A liquid laundry detergent and water mix works well and it won't harm your rear defroster grids, either.

Detergent and water mix. Keep it moist so spray it often. I use a razor when doing the sides and it comes right off.
I've heard of some people removing the glass and sweating it by keeping it moist, wrapping in palstic and leaving out in the sun. All that to prevent damage to the defroster.

Default glue

Just did it----used mineral spirits to soften it up ---then used a razor blade to get it off--worked like a charm

3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover # 08984 makes quick work of it.
