Default Armor All interior?

Anyone use Armor All on the dash and other interior parts on your cars?

I was wondering if it will eventually cause pre-mature cracking or color fading of the interior.

I like most have used it.

I've never seen damage as a result of using it but I use other products like Adam's, and Zaino on my vehicles.

Is the Maguirs Detailer like Armor All? I am not a fan of the 'wet' look, but do like a clean satin type look. Not sure whats a good product to use that is also safe for the dash.

look into aerospace protectant 303. I love the stuff. Dries uniformally and isnt greasy at all. Leaves a non glossy shine, but still a little shine

I stumbled on this stuff. It cleans very good and leaves a satin type shine plus I can get it locally. Try looking at CF supporting vendors stuff, they offer some great product and some offer CF members a discount.

I use a duster from time to time and a damp cloth. I have not had very good luck with Armor All.

Armor-All is a nice protectant (well the newer versions) but still a little glossy for my taste for the interior. To each their own , but if you prefer a matte or satin surface look to 303 Protectant or Poorboys , and if you like no gloss like me, then look to a cleaner only like Megs Interior Quik Detailer. You can find both locally or buy from us with forum discount, and you just might find a couple other goodies while browsing. (that sounds so PC)

A detailer told me if you use Armorall on the dash it will create a film on the windshield as it evaporates. The windshield is a pain to cleen, so I took her advice, I don't use it.

After reading many posts on this forum regarding interior detailing, I have gone with 303 Protectant once every month or so, and Meguiars Interior spray in between 303 applications. It has worked very well for me. Unfortunately, I can not compare this to Armor All as I have never used that product. Just my $.02.
