Default paint removal product

Yesterday afternoon i ran over a puddle of spilled paint (latex based) and it got all over my wheel wells, tires and rocker panels...and my stainless steel exhaust. Is there any product that can remove the paint off my tires without damaging the integrity of the tires themselves? All the rest of the paint cam off with some simple green.

Latex is a water-based product so I would think a rubber cleaner (3M Tire & Wheel Cleaner -39036) or a citrus-based APC (P21S Total Auto Wash) would remove it

Spray cleaner on to a clean surface, agitate with a stiff tyre brush

Also try Goof off at your local paint store. Painters use it to remove dried up latex paint on just about anything.

Goof Off will not harm the paint (just make sure it is the water based version). Clay bar is not abrasive enough to remove clearcoat, and should remove overspray and new paint immediately. 3M makes a Wax/Adhesive Remover that should immediately rid the paint issue from the car. Just remember you will need to rewax or reseal when done. I have even removed some recent paint with WD-40.

oops .... just reread the topic and everything is off except the tires. A stiff brush and wheel cleaner should remove that. If the wheels , not tires, need help then all the above apply as long as clearcoated. If not, tread very lightly. Wish you were closer, got a new product in this week, that just might work.

Turpintine will remove tar and paint without harming the paint on your car. No garage should be without a can of Turpintine.
