Default Spidering marks..what to do?

Hey folks!

My '00 MY vert looks awesome except for spidering marks all over the place. Is Zaino Z-PC Fusion the thing to use to get rid of those marks or is there something else you'd recommend?

Thanks much

optimum polish and poorboys make very good substitute for fusion and can actually be a little more aggressive when necessary for more stubborn markings. For best results a PC or rotary and some polishing pads will also be necessary.

Zaino Z-PC, Menzerna, Optimum, Poorboys, Einszett, etc.

Most any paint polish/swirl remover should do the job (depending on the severity).

Can I get good results doing this by hand as opposed to buying a buffer?

The best results will be from a orbital or rotary buffer.

You really really don't want to do this by hand -- will take hours and hours, and lots of sore shoulder muscles -- it will work, but it is unnecessary. Definitely use the Porter-Cable 7424. For people comfotable with a rotary, the Makita 9227 is recommended by experts here.

I put a vote in for 3m #39002, followed by 39009. OR
Menzerna intensive polish, followed by menzerna final polish 2

But I'd recommend a light cutting pad (orange). I don't seem to get anywhere using the white polishing pads for this task. The Vette clearcoat is kind of hard.

For the Vette and hard to remove spiderwebs, do you think one would be better off with SSR2.5 or an Optimum product? PB's has been my favorite on right scratches and such but I am wondering if swapping to something like Optimum just on the gh stuff might be a good idea.

Poorboys SSR 2.5 and Optimum seem to be very similar in their aggressive nature, although you can "work" Optimum longer as it does not flash dry as fast. If something more abrasive is needed I would probably step to SSR 3.0 since I have not used Optimums Compound yet.

I have had good luck with Liquid Glass Polish. The the new Zaino fusion for minor scratches.
