Default lets see some pics of stuff you use (dialup beware)

here is some of the stuff i use to detail with. not in any order....

i started using this stuff a few months ago and all i can say is wow!

now this little machine paid for itself the first time i used it. sweet!

white pad for rubbing compounds and grey one for swirl remover.

this one is my work horse for those paints that have never been buffed.
this one will burn paint real bad if one doesn't know what to do...

I posted this thread a little while back: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...04&forum_id=10 I have some Optimum products, as well as new Tropi-Care, coming to test.

I also have the PC with a good variety of pads, about 100 mf towels, various cotton and foam applicators, brushes, mitts, halogen spot lights, Craftsman 5 hp 5 gal vac, etc.

I'm going to add a steamer and rotary to the mix soon.

steamer? that sounds interesting. i've seen a few but they were big and bulky. have you determined which one you wanna get?

whats a rotary? you mean buffer?

Yeah, you can use the steamer for most everything inside the car (plastics, vinyls, rubber/seals, jambs, carpets, etc.), and you can use it for the exterior, too (wheels, tires, engine bay, etc.). It also cleans many things around the house.

I am going to get this one from Costco: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...pnav=&cat=&s=1

Yes, I am referring to a rotary buffer. I am deciding between the Fein and the Metabo. Both are very light, portable, and very well made (but not cheap).

zane.
when are you getting the steamer? i like that one for being small, it is priced really cheap. the one i saw was over a 1000. which i am not willing to spend. it was the kind that fits in back of a van. how do you think the costco one will work on carpet? i bet it would clean stains up real good. let me know what you think of it.
i never heard of a fein, have to google that one. i have read about metabo. not cheap goes with you get what you pay for...well sometimes. when it comes to machines and equipment i like to buy stuff that works and will last.

I am a HUGE PB fan. Lately I have also been doing Klasse AIO topped with Souveran on a few of my cars. Great results.

My leather favorite is Connolly and Leathrique. Both are great with no heavy smell, completely natural. Pinnacles All-In-One Leather Cleaner/conditioner works well and has a slightly heavier new leather smell, not heavy on chemical either but is much glossier.

I just used the menzerna products to do the wifes BMW. I had a hard time getting the deep water spots out, so I used some other 3m stuff for that. I have not used the 303 on the carpets yet.

I need to get a section of the shelf organized. I do keep most of the supplies inside the laundry room.

I use an assortment of cleaners etc. Zaino is my only product for exterior finishes. Before ZPC/Fusion, I used to go over the finish with Meguiars paint cleaner, or body scrub. Now that ZPC is around(for slightly dull finishes) I can use Zaino exclusively.

Zane,

Have you taken a look at this steamer ? I purchased one a few months back and it works pretty well.

you must be talking about Zaino Z9 and Z10. It is the best leather product I have ever used. I even use it on my couch and it makes the whole house smell awesome, just like leather.
