Default [Zaino] My ZFX is all clumpy, trash it?

I was going to mix up some ZFX/Z2 PRO last night after claying the car.....The little bottle of ZFX was very clumpy. Should I toss it or leave it inside to see if it returns to a thinner liquid form? I'm guessing it froze at some point. We did have some low temps not too long ago.

It's probably toast. Give Sal a call.

you need to keep your ZFX inside with no temperature extremes or it will go bad. Call Sal...

I found the same problem..... turned kind of "rubbery". Mine was stored indoors with the cap on tight, but hadn't been opened (used) in about a year. I got mine from a Zaino distributor here in the Dallas area...Tony Barker. What do you guys think would be the best way to go....call Sal directly or try to get in touch with Tony?
Thanks for any advice.....

Right.....only reason I was questioning is that Sal will probably have no records showing that I actually purchased his product......and Tony didn't give a reciept as I recall.
I suppose a call to Sal is the way to start.
Thanks for the help......

Same thing happened to mine about 8 or 9 months after I bought it from the Zaino website. Always kept it tightly capped inside the capped 2 oz bottle and stored in the house. After playing some phone tag with Sal, I just ordered a new bottle. I understand the shelve life of ZFX is about 18 months.

The shelve life of ZFX is about 18 months. Any temperature extremes will ruin it. Keeping the caps on the small bottle of ZFX and the cap of a 2 oz. bottle to store it in is also critical. These are the 2 reasons the ZFX will go bad, unless it is too old.

ZFX is guaranteed for 18 months from date of purchase.

Every product made has a usable shelf life...

I found that room temperature gave the best longevity for Zaino
products... so that's what I prefer... The optical additives I use do
not like extreme heat or cold. It will decrease there gloss enhancing properties.

When stored in a cool dry place. Avoiding extreme heat or cold. Shelf
Life is as follows.

Z-1 For optimum results use before 3 years.
Z-2 For optimum results use before 3 years.
Z-5 For optimum results use before 3 years.
Z-6 5 years +
Z-7 5 years +
Z-8 5 years +
Z-9 5 years +
Z-10 For optimum results use before 2 years.
Z-12 For optimum results use before 2 years.
Z-14 For optimum results use before 2 years.
Z-16 3 to 5 years
Z-18 5 years +
Z-PC For optimum results use before 3 years.
ZFX For optimum results KEEP TIGHTLY CAPPED and use before 18
months.

Please call for your free ZFX replacement..

I spoke to Sal this morning....always a pleasure to talk to. He makes time to listen and answer ANY questions. A free bottle of ZFX is headed my way. Thank you Sal. Good to talk with you as always.

When does the Z5 pro come out?

That is Top Secret!!!

Just know Sal is always looking at ways to improve all the Zaino products all the time. That is why he is cloning himself, so he can get some sleep.

Just thought I'd check back in to say that I've been in touch with Sal. Actually it was my wife that called since work is keeping me tied up. Anyway.....my new bottle of ZFX is on the way.
It's refreshing to have customer service like this. Now all I need to do is get my Z-2 used up so I can try some of this new Z-2 Pro I've been hearing about.
Again...thanks for the help.......and thanks to Sal for the great product and service.

Kevin V, I love the way Z5 looks, don't get me wrong, Z2 PRO is awesome as well. But I started with Z5 wayy back when, and it's my favorite. Z5 pro should ROCK when it does hit the shelves for retail.

Goinbroke, good to hear you're also good to go. Sal is a great guy and ALWAYS goes to great lengths to satisfy His customers.
