I am seriously considering buying some Zaino products after hearing some of the good stuff they do. I am especially interested in the new Z-8 and Fusion products.

I have a 02 Black Coupe.

It has some swirls in the paint and some water spots.

It doesnt need to be clayed because I have clayed it recently.

I am wondering what products do I need to get a great shine? I do have some Pinnicle Souveran which I plan on using as a last step product...I love this stuff.

Mind you Zaino has never been used on this car. More or less I want some help on how to get started. Thanks for the help

Justin

IMO, The Fusion and the Z8 are the two best products that Zaino makes.

Zaino Products-
Z-7™ Show Car Wash
Z-PC Fusion Dual Action Paint Cleaner Swirl Remover
Z-2 PRO™ Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes
ZFX™ Flash Cure Accelerator Additive
Z-6™ Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray
Z-8™ Grand Finale Spray Seal

Application Sequence
1.Car wash concentrate- Z-7™ Show Car Wash
2.Detailer’s clay- Clay Magic® (Blue) for light to medium surface contaminants.
Machine polish abrasion choice is dependant upon condition of paint surface
3.Machine polish 1-
4.Machine polish 2-
5.Machine polish 3- Z-PC™ Fusion Dual Action Paint Cleaner Swirl Remover
6.Polymer sealant- Z-2 PRO™ Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes
6a. Plus- ZFX™ Flash Cure Accelerator Additive
7.Z-6™ Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray (between each ‘layer’)
8.Last step product (LSP)- Z-8™ Grand Finale Spray Seal
8a. Last step product (LSP)- Carnauba wax- Pinnacle Souverän Paste Carnauba

As an alternative to a Dawn wash I would take the opportunity to decontaminate the paint surface with Auto International’s A B C System (www.autopoint.com)

If you just want to try it out and get the best of Zaino, go for Z-PC Fusion, Z2 Pro, and Z8.

You could get by with just Z2 Pro.

I recommend all of their products, but it just depends on what you're wanting to try and how much you're willing to spend.

So at the moment I should not bother with the ZFX? Also an Z2 Pro be applied with a PC or by hand? Also can it be layered?

ZFX is highly recommend by Zaino for optimum results in bonding, appearance, and layer-ability. Some people just don't like spending the money.

Z2 Pro can be applied by hand or PC, whichever you prefer.

Z2 Pro is a pure sealant with no cleaners or abrasives, so it can be layered, but IMO, after 5-6 coats, you're just wasting product or filling time. 2-3 coats will last me 7+ months.

Wash
Claybar as necessary
Wash
Polish with abrasive and/or cleaner as necessary to remove swirls, etc.
Seal

I may want to add Z2 Pro to that list.

Zaino is the benchmark that all other wax and polish companies strive to be.

Default Would you add the ZFX to the Z-2 or Z-5 to polish the wheels?
