Default New C-8 Reveal showing yesterday

Being a long time enthusiast, I took advantage of attending a Reveal Showing of the new C-8 fairly close by at Bob Johnson Chev in Rochester NY. Very impressive display. This is the group doing the North East and New England. Next stop is tomorrow at Van Bortal Chev. We were fortunate the group size was such that the car was not roped off. Watching some larger bodies try to enter and exit this car was awkward and amusing even without the top. It felt comfort once seated in this 3 LT model. The GM Tech Rep was very knowledgeable and answered all questions except for price which should be public today.

An exciting experience for any Corvette owner.

Stunning Orange looks like Monaco from the C-3 era.

Pipes on the Ends now.

1st time motor is in the other end.

Color choices are on display board.

Very nice.

Did you happen to ask them if the Mobile Tour is going anywhere in Canada?

Not anytime soon. There thrust is the US market. When I learned of the tour being so close, away we went.
An exciting experience. Some neat comments on the NCRS DB about this thread.

I spoke with a sales guy from Brian Cullen in St Catharines yesterday. He knew about the display in Rochester. They have no idea if/when the mobile tour is coming north of the border. He said they may have a car in December sometime....

Love the Sebring Orange and I'll be ordering it with the orange belts for sure.

Default Dye transfer on seats issue.

This car had White/Parchment colored seats. The GM Tech rep said they plan to "scrap out" these seats every 2-3 weeks because of the Dye Transfer from bodies getting in and out thus causing the staining. Some other interesting comments are being made on a similar post on the ncrs discussion board with mixed reviews. This group is heading to Les Stanford Chev in Dearborn and will tour Michigan for awhile.

I believe Wilson-Niblett is suppose to have one one in October. If you just go on their website and start loading the C8 content and send them an email or call them, they will put you on a list to get notified of the event.
