Default Leafs Out

Seriously is anyone really surprised that they are gone again in the first round?

In some ways I blame the fans. They continue to support an inept management system and have for years. Ticket prices are equivalent to a team having won the Stanley Cup the 18 of 20 years. Last won in 1967 and last past the first playoff round in 2004. Always rebuilding always scamming more money from the faithful in their "rebuilding" process. What a joke.

They agonize over how to sign 51. These people are insane. They should have given him a bus ticket back to Toronto while the rest took the Cesena. Would have given them time to clean his locker out for him. They worry if he goes to another team he will turn into a superstar. WTF? Does not say much for their coaching staff if they believe that. Wonder if he has a side contract with Boston?

Haven't watched a game in years. Haven't been to one even longer. Money-grab, and a dumb distraction to numb the masses. Don't give them your hard earned dollars.

You obviously don't follow the leafs. Check their farm team and see how many players have moved up to the NHL. They finally have a plan for developing their own players.

I was born & raised in Toronto - & came of age when the Leafs were still winning Cups.
Now retired after a career is sales - when I enjoyed the good fortune of being responsible for the distribution of tickets & entertaining clients at Leaf games.
So I've seen a lot - & been disappointed more times than I'd like to have been.
And although I'm a big fan - I was NOT surprised to see them bounced in the first round this year.
Yet I still think they are very close to going all the way!
But then - because I still have my Argo season tickets - I guess my opinion doesn't mean much....
Hahaha
