Spring Fling is on Sunday May 29 this year and registration is $20/car.

So I'm heading up to Collingwood for the Mike Jackson Spring Fling on May 29. Meet up at the OnRoute on Hwy 400 north of Major Mac for a 10pm depart time. Randy's leading the way up Airport Rd.

Afterwards, maybe we can go for a cruise through Wasaga Beach and stop somewhere for lunch. Last year we stopped at Boston Pizza but if anyone has another idea, let me know.

This is all contingent on the weather cooperating. Meaning, no wet stuff.

Stan, hopefully I can figure out some way of meeting up with you guys. Not sure just how to do that since you will be so far to the west of me. Certainly would like to join up with another of your adventures.

I hear that Wilson Niblett is having their Hill Fest on May 29th at the dealership. Quad C is trying to have them move it to June 12th because of the Jackson show.

I've been going to the Wasaga Beach Corvette Show on and off for the past 25 years. I think the Corvette show has been going on longer than that as I seem to remember going up there in my teens to see the cars. To say I'm going to miss it is an understatement. A lot of work goes into hosting this show and I don't know if the Wasaga Beach Corvette Club ever really received recognition for the work they do. I think they mostly go unnoticed, which to me, is a sign of a well run show.

Having met a few of the organizers in the last few years, I just want to say that while I was one of the few that mostly ignored them while I was there, their hard work in making the show the success that it was is deeply appreciated by me and my friends, and I'm sure by all those who attended the show over the years.

If there was ever a group that deserved an award for organizing a show, it was the Wasaga Beach Corvette Club.

For now, the group still organizes Spring Fling at Mike Jacksons GM Dealership in Collingwood so I hope to see you all on May 29th. Let's try and make it the largest Spring gathering of Corvettes ever.

Meet at 400 on route gas bar near Major Mackenzie. Leave at 10 am to hwy #9 over to airport rd., Shell station and Tims and hook up with ***** and the west group.
