I've been riding since I was 16 on the street, but since I had my son the itch to ride is gone (and sold my bike first summer after he was born). Maybe when my kiddies are done college I'll ride again
Vern even on easy rides the roads are too cold for bikes, it's not about you it's about the car's and the lack of care for the bikes on the road so you can't manoeuvre like you can when the roads are warmer. Be safe and enjoy !

Ya the bikes can't handle well at all with the roads so cold, add that drivers .. well think of this, what are they like the first snow fall? not like we get snow every year? Heck even first major rain is the same .. so, how are they when bikes start coming around?
I forgot to comment about the 4 post lift you mentioned, I don't know anyone but also might like to hear about others who have them, pro's con's? As I move I'd like to get one for the new house
And snow .. kinda puts a downer on the plans of taking the car out lol
First 5km today on the way to Petro Can. I crept around and dodged the gravel pretty well but the +12 temps don't let me hook up yet. After driving a CRV and a sedan for the last 5 months it felt like piloting a jet.
Cleaned the Z up and took her for a ride to Windsor. On the way saw a c5 convertable and a c6 (looked like a gradsport) all following me towards the mall.
