Jennie and I should be on the road by 5am Thursday, in case anyone wants to join up! It's about a 7 hour drive, but we do take some interesting back roads.

BTW - seems over the past few years the show really gets going on Thursday. Friday's the big day - maybe bigger even than Saturday. By Sunday, a lot of vendors start packing up!

Last year a lot of folks were commenting that Thursday's the "new" Friday and Friday's the new Saturday, so my advice is if you're leaving Friday, leave EARLY - and enjoy the drive.
There's a lot to see along the way!

PS. Mind your speed. Lots of local speed traps and the county mounties really like generating revenue from outta towners! The secret is no more than 8mph over or just don't be the fastest car on the road.

Excepting when Irene's storm hit two years ago and it was closed, Sunday's actually a pretty cool time to enjoy the quieter atmosphere. Still plenty of interesting cars and displays we just don't have the time to see Thurs-Sat, plus of course a Sunday highlight at the 63-67 tent is the I guess now-annual tradition of Bill Miller stopping by for a friendly and engaging conversation.

Always a good time!
