General motors released early friday the c7 z06 will make 650 horsepower and 650 ft/lbs of torque .The supercharged lt4 will have a blower that spins up to 5000 rpm higher than the one on the c6 zr1.The only thing we need to know is how much the new z06 tips the scales at.Great job G.M i m very impressed.This car with the paddle shift automatic should be deep into the 10 second quarter mile times.

With that much power hopefully most new purchasers who have never been exposed to that much power will take some professional driving and control lessons. Otherwise there could be a lot of unintended tree huggers.

90+% of its torque available from 2500 to 5400 RPM!

Bill there is nothing wrong with your c6 z06.Your car is a gorgeous car.We wont be seeing any c7 z06 cars till next spring.Enjoy your car and who knows? Maybe there is a c7 z06 in your near future.
