Stoopid question for Google Map Users
I've said this a few times. I do not like the new google maps. What a f*****g waste of time it is now.
Does anyone know how to get the street labels back on to the maps? I am in the map mode but none of the streets are labelled, and I cannot for the life of me figure out where that setting is.
Thanks.
Stan.

We are (or SHE is) looking at having the glass inserts replaced in our front door & side panels.Guy was supposed to come & check fittment. No problem, he says. I googled your house, checked the door & the panels you want, & they will fit .A very reputable company to boot!

I have to tell you I'm more old school than I care to admit. I am a tried and tru PC user, and now that everything has started to be re-invented for tablets and smartphones, I do not like that.

So it turns out the problem is actually Firefox.
Google Maps displays the street names and maps properly with Google Chrome (no surprise there) and Internet Explorer. Could this be a browser war issue?

Hmm. I must be going blind. Never noticed that question mark there before. I'm back to the old google maps and it's working the way it should in Firefox. Thanks Les.

New Google Maps sucks - cannot find a print button - apparently if you hold ctrl and something else while using only 1 of 3 types of browsers and only if you bandwith is above average

thanks for this thread, just switched mine back to the old one, they obviously know the new one is a piece of &^%$ that they give you the option to switch back to "classic"
