"Big Daddy"... one of the GREAT Corvette personalities
Rick.....Was one of the best. Great sense of humour, well liked, always a smile on his face.
He played Santa for yearsssss, at malls and parties, in the GTA.
He owned one of the most famous Corvette race cars, destined to become one of the most desirable and valuable, after he owned it.
A "true" Corvette guy, and a great friend...

Haven't seen Rick in a lot of years but the memories are still fresh. Wherever Rick was, the good times and raucous laughter were not far behind. He was a great friend to all.
Today would have been his birthday so we should all raise a glass to salute his unique style.
Those that were there will remember one of his epic stunts at the 1981 Canadian Council of Corvette Clubs annual convention in Niagara Falls. Don't know who drove the van slowly past the long picture windows of the hotel restaurant, but Rick was hanging out the open side door, mooning all the folks having breakfast that day. Can still hear his laughter about the "Moving Moon Over the Falls"
RIP Rick. You will be missed.
Tom and Mary Lou.

A real fun guy !
I was going to mention him owning the Swiss Chalet car but figured most of the people on here wouldn't know what I'm talking about.

Sounds like he was a great guy. Why don't you give us some more details about him, his history, and the SC car?
And, my condolences...
