Used C6 Pricing.
I spent some time in the C6 for sale section today.
It seems that the pricing is starting to drop in the U.S..
Not in all cases, but the guys that are serious about selling, and have advertised at a reasonable price are moving their cars.
Others priced at higher prices, have thousands of hits and are for sale for months.
Sellers that have ordered C7's seem to realistic on C6 pricing.
Some nice cars in the mid 20's and a couple of GS's in the mid 30's.

If you need to exchange a large sum of money...go to one of the places downtown like I did, I withdrew a CAD bank draft, took it over to a currency exchange place (not those shady places, a real place in financial district), gave me back a USD bank draft, took it back to bank and they ordered large sum of USD.
Didn't pay a massive fee.

Bendix was where I went. I believe it was a flat fee to exchange.

Good plan! I love my C6 a lot, however a part of me wishes I had just hung onto the C5 and waited for the C7 prices to drop. I still plan on getting a C7 well before my 50th birthday though (in 2019)

I found the Bendix slip and I exchanged at 1.083.
So basically they made .005 points per dollar on $30k.
I can't recall the flat fee. It was nothing I was terribly concerned about.

I was looking yesterday on autotrader and still seeing grand sports for $45-60k.
also, im not sure but on the off topic section and c7 section, guys are getting loans for like 1%-2% then purchasing private cars. I believe its through credit unions. anyone know what the best rate for getting a loan to purchase a car privately and low interest? used car lots want anywhere from 4.9% to 7.9%, 4.9% with really good credit. and then you still have your usual markup because its a dealer. any good places?
