Hi Everyone, I have been exchanging e-mails with the folks at Sheraton, Harrisburg and they have offered pretty well the same deal as last year which was $ 134.00 per night plus tax for a Double Room - 1 room 2 double beds sort of thing.
It's a booking for 10 rooms each night so I am imagining we must reserve the 10 by a certain date or all bets are off but I'm pretty confident that getting to 10 won't be a problem.
I'll go ahead and ask her to proceed, whereby I'm guessing she will provide me the "link" to the exclusive booking page and we'll wait to see how it goes throughout the summer. If I remember correctly the cutoff date was Aug 2 last year.
Hey ***** - Figure I might as well continue on since she has put us down as "Canadian Corvette Forum" which was the same as last year when some fine fellow set it up.
I'll update the post once I get the magic link ...

Hi Jack, I received the signed copy of the contract by both sides this afternoon. Next step is for Sheraton to provide me the links so that people can reserve the rooms. I am hopeful I see that tomorrow.

Hi Everyone, mission accomplished ... the link to reserve rooms is below.
The web page is pretty self explanatory but here are a few details
Cost is $134.00 plus 11% tax per night
The rate is in effect until August 1, 2014
Current Room Block is 10 rooms per night - Friday + Saturday
* Just wanted to add that the rate also applies to 3 days prior to Friday Aug 22 and 3 days after Sunday Aug 24 *
If we reach the 10 room booking before the cutoff date I will be informed and then I can ask for another block which I'm told should not be a problem but no guarantees.
Cancellation policy, I copied this directly from my reservation confirmation, plus, I called the hotel to confirm and was told the same thing.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel between 26-Mar-2014 and 6:00 PM hotel time on 21-Aug-2014, there will be no forfeiture amount. If you cancel after 6:00 PM hotel time on 21-Aug-2014, the forfeiture amount will be a 1 night stay.
The hotel will once again set aside a special parking area for us along with the use of the water for the folks who want to "tidy" things up a bit.

Carlisle Fun Field Pass
Just signed up for the Carlisle FunField Pass--if you go onto their website you can order yours now at a discount--usually $75--you can get for $68--includes entry for your car to park in the grounds and 2 people for all three days!! Much easier for hauling bought items too your car rather than carry around!! And to have an sun umbrella and lawn chairs with a bevy

Glad to hear things are working out, I updated the post to include the fact that the rates apply to 3 days before Friday and 3 days after the Sunday if anyone is considering spending a few extra days. It's a great part of the state to scout out.

Hi Everyone, we have 8 out of the initial 10 rooms booked over a 4 day period. We have added another 10 rooms to the block so we should be in good shape.
