Ok guys and gals forget the snow!!--we are only 189 days to Woodward dream cruise. Aug 16-17/2014--- I have been just talking to the Marriott in Troy (where we stayed last year) I have booked a 15 room block at $84.00/per night (as aposed to $134.00/per night) they will send me the contract and I will post up when we can start to fill these. I think everyone had a great time last year!! Good tour down the seaway to the ferry at Sombra--Joe (Sickvet) did some grilling at the hotel for the crew--and we got to see HardCore Pawn in Detroit as a side trip. If anyone has any idea's on how to improve the tour--let me know. I am always open to new idea's--so stay posted--when I get the T's and C's of the contract I will post a block number to book under.

We make annual trip through Appalachia (Blue Ridge Skyway) to Savannah, Tybee Island, Charleston, Isle of Palms in May. Great Corvette road trip - maybe some of group might be interested?

Great to have the usuals that make the trip special--and Mikey back in the fold--we missed him last year!! You bringing bleach or just going up to Pontiac Mike??? Hehehehe We where making noise about bringing a grill next year we have 2 grill masters coming (Mike and Joe) so as time goes by we can decide if that is an avenue we want to pursue!!! I think everyone like the parking spots we had--I won't lock into a contract this time with the guy this year--but if we get there early enough like we do every year anyway--we can get the same spot!!! It is pretty central--I am still working on a deal with a tavern owner where Linamar is setting up to get in there!!! Lots of time to figure out!!!! Is it summer yet??--gotta go blow out the driveway again!! Hmmmmm

I have just signed and scanned back to the Marriott our block room agreement for Woodward 2014. By this Wednesday-Feb 12/2014 you should be able to phone the Marriot Courtyard at 1525 Maple Road, Troy, MI and reserve a room under "Corvette Club of Canada". I have 15 rooms (so far) set aside in this block. 1(800) 321-2211 or (248) 528-2800--July 25th is the cut off date. These rooms are all King (you can call early enough and negiotate 2 doubles) size beds--$84.00 / night.+ plus state tax currently 9.5%. Breakfast is not included. Would everyone like to do Hard Core Pawn again?? I am starting to assemble the routes and logistics for the 3 day venture. I see the Innisville crew is staying at the same venue---if we want to hook up for the drive down that would be awesome!! Any questions let me know!!!
