Default Our Crystal Red C7 with brushed gold HRE P101's.

Finally got the car yesterday.

Lowered it as much as we could on the stock bolts. Installed the HRE P101's on factory Michelin Super Sports.

Weighed the factory wheels and tires.

Fronts 51.5 lbs each.
Rears 60 lbs each.

Weighed the HRE's after we mounted the Michelins onto them.

Fronts 48.2 lbs each.
Rears 54 lbs each.

Wow, you were really able to get the front end down low, did you get a chance to drive it like that?

Yes I did. Drove it around to 6 different locations to take the shots. In and out of parking lots, over hard packed snow and ice. Didn't have a single issue. It drives great, no scraping, no bottoming out,and some of the roads I was on had some big dips.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! We're really happy with how it turned out. Have had a few people stop by to see it, so far everyone has loved it! To be honest, the pictures make the wheel look far glossier than they really are. Satin transparent gold is what I would have called them.

I don't like the shape or the colour of the wheels. The C7 is no contest winner either.
