Last Saturday night Mike was was in a car accident that totalled his beloved G8. He was I think on the Gardiner and got hit by a drunk driver. As I mentioned his car is a write off. He's at home, no serious injuries but bumped, bruised and beat up as well as feeling really sad about losing his car. If you're on FB there is a lot of info and conversation on his page. I just thought after a few days and he hasn't posted anything here I would. He's a good guy and I thought we all might want to know.

Wow, very sorry to hear this. Mike LOVED his G8. But a car can be replaced, a life cannot.
Damn drunk drivers really need to be beaten, when will they learn?!?!

Thanks for posting Mike. I wanted to say something but figured it's not my place if Mike already hadn't.

Sad though. Mike's a great guy. Luckily, no fatalities. The drunk driver will probably get a slap on the wrist too. We are very soft on DUI's in this province.

But Mike will be back. I can see him going for a CTS-V now.

Thanks Mike for posting...I wasn't planning on posting here.
As I didn't want the attention.

I was getting on the QEW in Mississauga; heading home Saturday night.
(I was drinking Diet Coke all night long).
& got crashed into by an impaired driver.
Totalling my G8.

For legal reasons.
& can't say much more than that.
I am in the middle of seeing an injury lawyer.

I had to clean up my Facebook wall...so the last few days are not visible any more.
