It's an either or but I'm hoping for Saturday and so far, the long term forecast is favourable for a Saturday cruise.

It's a go for Saturday, unless it rains, then we go on Sunday.

I'm pretty certain we'll be a "go" Saturday; I'm an amateur meteorologist as a sideline.

It looks overcast, but good.

I like to come for along for the cruise but I may just stick out too much in my current ride SS sedan.. Haven't hang out/cruise with other vetters for a long time ever since I've sold my vette 7 years back. Have fun all and drive safe.

You won't be the only non corvette on the cruise, so please don't let that stop you from coming out and enjoying the day with us.

If my counting is correct, if everyone from the roll call does show, we'll have

42 Corvettes
1 Saturn Sky
2 Nissan GTRs
5 Camaros
2 Porsches
and 1 Chevrolet SS (to be announced)

This should make for quite a scene.

Done Chris.

I've also moved you and Tina out of the maybe crowd and put you into the yes crowd.

Forecast - she's changing every 6 hrs. Best job in town, you can be wrong everyday yet still be called a meteorologist

Amazing

Yes, but the showers are staying low - down near Niagara, giving good reason to stay positive for sun and top down during the cruise.

Told Jennie the temps might not be more than 10° so the top might be up.
She yelled at me - then you put on a PARKA!
Top stays DOWN!

Love that girl.

Don't just check Toronto and Whitby. Make sure to check out Gravenhurst and Huntsville. They are far enough away to have their own weather fronts.

Doesn't look good either day that far north at the present time. I will keep an eye out.

I use the Environment Canada website, but if they don't show something more promising (Huntsville in this case) will look to another....

Graphic forecast

Sat 19 Oct
  • POP 70%
  • HI 9°C
  • LO 7°C

Sun 20 Oct

  • POP 60%
  • HI 8°C
  • LO 2°C

Thing is that while we enjoyed a mostly awesome Thanksgiving in Bancroft last weekend, the rain and winds Sunday pretty much knocked down the last of the leaves. I'd say there's less than 15% of the "colour" still in the trees - everything else is on the ground. With the rain this weekend, I'd say that's about it for the fall foliage season around these parts.

I was up as far as Washago on Sunday and noticed that too.

I should have booked the cruise the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Still on for saturday if the weather clears up.
