Very Hot!
I drank gallons of water and gatorade, but still felt dehydrated when I got home!
Great event put on by Roy Foss and their team ... plus Julianna from myautomotivehookup.com coordinated the whole event ... great job!
Roy Foss brought three cars for us to beat on, I mean drive, a Corvette Grand Sport Vert, a Camaro SS Convertible and a Cadillac CTS-V coupe.
I drove the Camaro and the CTS-V ... both cars were a lot of fun, but now where near the track monster like the Z06 ... fun cars, especially going up the back straight at 180+ KPH with the roof down on the SS ... and my ball cap stayed on!
John Malher (Head Instructor) approached me and asked if I would take one of the ALMS drivers around the track, since it is his first time at Mosport ... turns out, it was Steven Kane ... he told me that he had watched a number of videos on YouTube, but wanted to see how rough the track really is (that's the consenses among the pro drivers) ... so we spent a half hour out there, running different lines and speeds so he could feel out the track ... he was astonished by the elevation changes ... and the speed of the track. I offered to let him drive my car, but he turned that down, he didn't want to risk making any mistakes with my car.
He was really impressed with the speed of the Z06 ... I can't wait to see him drive the P1 Dyson car around the track this weekend!
Oh, and we have a standing invite to their paddock over the weekend!

Now that you are a Vette owner, you can spell Camaro any way you want
It was a full track day ... but I was done (as in tired) by about 3P ... but waited around for Timea and her hubby Paul ... but I guess they were having too much fun at the airport, and didn't make it up to the track ... so ended up leaving around 5:30P

Yeah, after two FULL days (in that heat!) it gets exhausting ... on the mind and body . That's cool that they had the 3 cars there to flog ... I mean, test drive .
