I'm wondering how long I should wait to put tile down on a new garage floor (new build this fall)?

If you want to go with two part epoxy I would just do it yourself as it is pretty easy.

Check the moisture level of the floor by taping a piece of plastic down onto it to make a sealed area.

Hey Todd. Here is my floor with the tiles & related supplies supplied by Jamie.
Great product, still looks new after 2 winters.

I am trying to decide betweeen the two also. Guys that have the tiles, does the salt or water from winter snow get between the tiles? Or if you wash the car in the summer?

I put a few coats of sealant on it.
My Wife parks her car on it everyday of the winter. I just wash it down and squeegee it off.
I have had no problems with water & salt / crap between the tiles.

Now saying this, if I was to do it again I would probably go with Race-Deck.
Very durable and easier to install.

Can you use a jack or sit your car on jackstands without collapsing the flooring?

Race Deck for me...just snap it apart each spring into 3 sections, drag out onto the driveway, powerwash and it is good as new! Takes me about 1 hour total. Jacks and stands are no problem but I put a piece of wood under the jackstands to prevent them from denting the tiles. The floor jack leaves no marks at all....

This is Rustoleum with the clear after 2 years, half a dozen motor builds, and more oil and beer than any normal person can actually spill.

Do you have a sealant or wax on top? Looks nice
