Hi all,

I am a photographer based in Waterloo, and am looking for a Corvette to shoot at some point when it stops snowing! Preferably I'm looking for a stock Z06 or ZR1 to shoot in the Toronto area. This won't be me snapping away, it will be a proper shoot, with assistants and lights etc. and the owner of the car will also get the hi-res images to do with as he/she likes. Posters, large art prints etc.

So if anyone is up for it I'd love to hear from you! If you google rob smith photography you can see a few of my car shots on my website.

P.S. I drove a Corvette last Summer along with some other great cars, and I was really impressed! It was much better than I had expected, I'm originally from the UK so my view of 'merican cars had been dulled by too many Top Gear episodes. Once my kids leave the nest a 'vette is definitely on my list. Before I left the UK I had the orange Exige in my profile pic, also a great car.

Nice work. I like the Pioneer station (just existing lighting?) and the long night exposure of the industrial complex.

Thanks, yes both just long exposures. The Pioneer one was for their bonus points program, and went alongside a tv commercial about some kids in a jeep, that was a fun day!

Now if you want to shoot a classic Corvette C3, with the great Corvette lines, real good American muscle, then look no further than me.

You should come out to CHAMPION MOTORS annual track day.

You can catch some of Ontario's best looking Corvettes at that event and by the way the track makes a fantastic backdrop!

hint hint...hope to see you there.

Thanks all for your kind replies and for offering your cars. I sort of knew Corvette owners would be a nice bunch but you have truly proved it! I have a few to choose from on PM so will get back to you.

I would shoot all of them if I could, but I have two young toddlers to look after too so time is short I'm afraid. I love the Ron Fellows edition coolsrt8, well done on a great choice, I might look to buy one of them at some point.

Excellent work Rob. Loved 'em all - but exceptionally nice work of colour, composition and location with those Graffiti shots.

Jeff couldn't hitch his leg high enough to get it onto the hood.

Thanks for the kind comments!
