WOW gotta love the weather man,, wrong again,,,,was supposed to rain all weekend,, had sun and clouds,, and race day was perfect,,,,
Great time was had by all. The hotel was just perfect for the $$ and the location was within walking to all the night life. Most people take the metro to the race but friends told me about the water taxi,,,, cost a little more but no crowds,,, and there's a bar on board!
The night life was incredible, the streets were jammed with people and cars... Montreal is just so far ahead of Toronto.
Racing was really action packed as usual at the hairpin.
Loved the vintage race,, so cool to see all my old favourites.
Jack: really too bad you couldn't make it,,, got to meet you relatives sitting in front of us,,,
All in all a great weekend,, always a good time going on road trips to the races... Montreal put on a great show and hope it stays around.
all video and photos taken myself on a little ole Canon G9

Hmmm. I don't recall seeing this on the starting grid.
Great pics Steve. Sounds like you had a blast. You coming over for Toronto Indy or whatever it is they're calling it now?
I might check out the Friday as it's free general admission for the whole day. I know, not much to see on a Friday but we can walk around and see what's up. Maybe watch some practise laps.
Stan.

Great vid/pics there pal
Looks like a great time, wish I had of jumped on the ticket a bit earlier than I did :o
By all accounts in the media, the event was a complete success, over 300,000 people attended over 3 days Wish Toronto could pull that off, maybe without Miller and McGuinty we could...
Oh, poor boy Shummy, I'm crying for ya....gotta work for it now eh pal
BTW, great funky soundtrack...whose that chick doing the Ozzy song? Pat Benatar?

Steve ..great presentation of the "big show" ..Paul and myself had a great weekend every minute of the time we had was spectacular.....Lucas Alex Paul and yourself were just great company..We are in for next year as Paul said it was the best time he has had outside of family happenings.....I couldn't agree more....
Carole just viewed your vid and pics and said it even sounded fantastic....good job on the camera...

Love the way you mixed the vintage F1 pics with todays cars.
Pissed that I missed the best race of the season to date.
I agree - next year we need a lot more Vette-heads to go to this!

Thanks for the pics and video. I had a general admission for sunday, but next year I will be in hairpin too, for sure...
Funny, I was looking for videos from race in Youtube yesterday and saw your vid. Didn't realise that it was from you then... Really nice vid!

Wow nice pics. I was in 24 the best place to watch the GP from. Sec 4 row EE - it was one of the best races in years - the hairpin was action packed all weekend.
Hopefully you're at Mosport on the 22nd and we can meet.
