Next Mosport Day?
Have been out of the loop pretty much since the Glen.
When is the crew planning to go to Mosport again? It would be nice to get the same crew plus more all together on the same day(s).

June 22nd

Aug 9th

Oct 26th
Hopefully everyone's cars will be back together by then!
I've been chatting with some newbies that might also be joining us ... we'll have to set up the Corvette Racing Paddock area with all the tents and chairs ... and Lauri better start baking her famous "CUFFINS"!

June 22 it is. I will plan for that.
I have belts installed now, for passenger as well, so no problem to take anybody out for a few sessions. They would just need a helmet.

My cousin and I may be good to go.

Includes instructors, corner workers, etc. Plus all the bottled water you can drink, morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks.
You should be at the track by 8:30A ... driver's meeting happens at 9:00am 'ish ... you would then have your class room session ... then you will be out on the track after the Red and Green Groups have been on.
Can't think of a better way to spend $399

It is essential to check your brakes - how much is left on your pads, rotors - any cracks?; tires - balanced, aligned, no cracking, leaks, tread or in case of slicks/track tires, no cording.
Essential to check your fluids, and if possible, change out.
Oil
Coolant
Brake
Power Steering
Clutch
Essential to make sure wheels are torqued and at the correct pressure.
You can run on street tires and use your oe restraint system.
**A helmet is not mandatory, however, strongly recommended. If it is your first time out, you will be with an instructor and they prefer to wear a helmet. The rule is either both or none wear a helmet in the car.
Others will chime in I'm sure. It may seem like a lot of extra work, but truly, for the casual tracker, the things you need to check, I consider basic maintenance.
Come on out...all it takes is once and you are hooked

........and the number one thing to remember when going out on track .... check your ego at the door and focus on learning what the instructors teach you. You will be amazed at what your car is really capable of...
I cant wait to see everyone there... it will be fun for sure.
