Default A&A install by Champion Motors (2001 LS1)

Recently my father had his 2001 convertible worked over by Champion Motors.

A&A kit installed and tuned, headers, x-pipe, upgraded clutch, pfadt diff brace, and some other odds and ends cleaned up.

From what I understand, car was tuned on 91 octane, and dyno says peak 503 RWHP 457lbs.ft torque!

Him and I are both really happy with the results and the work that was done looks clean. Can't say enough good things about the experience at Champion motors so far.

I drove the car and it was FAST! Pulls hard, just have to break the clutch in before really getting on it.

Maybe Rob or someone from Champion Motors can chime in here and list the brand of headers/clutch or other details worth adding in.

Onto the pictures:

Other plans include some HRE wheels, new rubber to abuse, spectre werkes headlights, and two piece rotors.

Thanks Rob,

Unfortunately we ordered the wheels before we knew you were a dealer for HRE. If we need anything else, I'll be sure to contact you to see if you can get it first!

Suddenly my Davenport Motorsports stage one upgrade just doesn't seem to cut it anymore, then again it never really did.

Thanks guys,

themonk, after driving this I feel like any other car I get into just doesn't cut it either! I know there are vettes out there with even more power than this, but this is definitely the fastest car I have ever driven. I own an 86 fiero with a 3800SC engine swap and it's quick, but it doesn't even come close to this.

I'd recommend it

Thanks for the invite. I'll have to let my father know, as it is his car. I know he has plans this season to attend some events and shows.
