I'm going to do some exhaust mods, Kooks headers and Corsa exhaust. Knowing the extreme has better sound, does anybody have experience with cabin noise while driving? Is there much difference between the sport and extreme? Also, who would you recommend as a local supplier/installer?

I think Rob at Champion has a cosrsa sport at his shop. The extreme's will be pretty radical. Pretty sure thats what Lundy is running and it is crazy loud at WOT. Not sure how that would feel inside the car

I think he used to run the Extremes and yes they were LOUD. He now runs with Daytona Prototypes which are much deeper and quieter.
The cabin noise with the sports is pretty good when cruising but also LOUD when you get on it. Not sure about inside noise with the extremes, but lets face it... if you want something that loud, youre not going to get the best of both worlds. The sports would probably be your best bet if you want to try to find a middle ground.
There was almost no drone in the cabin with the Xtremes, even with headers and a cam. There's usually a used set floating around on the US side for under $900.

You will find that the sport with Long tube headers is loud under acceleration, and quiet under cruise...however they do drone when you lug the motor between 1600-1900 rpm, but still the best exhaust for sound control under normal driving.
I had the Corsa Sport installed on my C5 last summer at Carlisle. Cabin noise is not an issue, then again with my sound system bumping even if I had no exhaust I probably would'nt notice the difference.
Corsa prides themselves on no done, and I truely have to say the only anoying sound is having to hear the antenna motor after I turn off the ignition.
