Default My car on the road next week.................hopefully

So I got my Z06 last week, sat in it a few times in the garage. Set up my Nav and memory settings and played around with a few things. Still haven't driven it yet but hopefully by the end of this week I'll be able to go for a drive.

If you remember from the pics, the car is in the air now on stands since I have a pending sale going to Steve (MOSPORT1) on my G/year RF's.

I did a trip to Buffalo today and picked up my new tires, went with B/stone RE050A RF's and got them mounted up today. The wheels are filthy dirty right now with some dirt and tire lube so they need a cleaning.

I'm also changing out the stock brake pads and putting in posiquiets. Don't like the stock pads they dust up like crazy so they are coming out, will be doing that this weekend. While the pads are out I'm putting some anti-seize on the caliper pins do they don't seize up on me down the road.

I re-installed my Elite Engineering oil catch can already and pulled out all the plugs and put anti-seize on the threads and reinstalled them.

Once the pads are done I can put the wheels on, and the driving season will begin. WOOHOO!!!!!!

Tony

After Sat. I can mount up the wheels and hit the road on new B/stone RF's

edit: wheels are clean, need to use the chrome polish on them and some tire shine for the tires and it will look great!!!!!

another edit: Oh yeah, couple other things I was doing. Removed those disc rotor clip thingys on the wheel studs (less chance of vibration now) and flushed the crap out of the clutch fluid. 24kms and the fluid was black. I used up a whole bottle and a bit of the Super DOT 4 brake fluid and the fluid now is clean. I will keep changing it out when the car hits the road.
