Thanks for the post, I remember when there was talk of the "new C4" being mid engine as well, we'll see but I am hoping that they cut down on the bulk as the article stated. A mid twin turbo'd six might get the attention of the next generation Corvette buyer.
I'm not sure if this article was posted previously but GM does recognize that they have to get the avg age of a new vette buyer down from 54 yrs. maybe moving to a more edgy looking and a different drivetrain will do that. Corvettes have always been my favourite sports car since Rt. 66 hit the tube and I hope for a long run ahead for this iconic American sports car. My son, 22 and his friends just have no real interest in the vette, their main complaint is that it's what my dad drives.
