Default Wanna bolt on 200 rwhp!!!!!here's how...........

Just ask Rob to install a A&A kit

03 vert-bone stock, before and after an A&A install with a road and dyno tune.

It's just a cam and spring package away from 600 rwhp

Don't quote me because I only come in and do the tuning but I think it's around $7500-depending on where the dollar sits.

I'm pretty pleased with my current set-up, but next time I'll prob go SC - seems to cost about the same as heads/cam/long tubes/lifters/pushrods/rockers/oil pump/timing chain/ gaskets/thermostat/labour/etc etc.... plus, easy to change back to stock if you have to....

Horsepower 600+ rwhp.
Kit is $7500 cdn + tax installed, but a custom dewitt alum. rad is recommended for a clean install or we have to relocate engine oil cooler to inside of fender and add a fan for cooling. Rad is a additional $800

How reliable is this on a stock bottom end? Should I be redoing it with forged internals? Lower compression? I have thought about just bolting one on but i am concerned about how long i can abuse this stock motor before it goes booom??

Everything depends on how good you stock motors is now. But we have serveral corvettes with over 20K on their stock bottom ends pushing 600+ rwhp without a problem. @ 500 rwhp with a good tune you should be good for awhile.

Hey Rob,

Was this my dad's? Dyno looks similar, however his is an 01 vert.

Either way, A&A install same idea.

I drove it the other day... all I can say is FAST!

Sorry yes this is your dad's car and dyno. Arun made a mistake and thought it was a 2003 instead of 2001 vette.

I put around 8000 k's last year on my stock bottom end with 660RW....and I treat the throttle hammer-like allot.....+ drag racing.
Installed by Rob and tuned by Arun. Good chemistry with the quality tune giving you a highest level of safety possible.
If you are not into her allot it really should last a long long time.

I bought my used vert with about 80k's on the odom. with absoulute no knowledge of the history of the car (owner(s), accidents etc). Put a supercharger 5 or 8 k's after that, and now have around 113k's on it. I have beat on it like there's no tommorow. I dyno at 684rwhp with a stock bottom. I think as long as you have a tune that is done with a knowledgeably tuner (thanks Arun), you should be ok. Like i found out last fall with my rear end/ tranny , nothing lasts forever. When we push the limits, things can happen. 550 -600, would be where i would feel the safe limits lay. We're lucky we have a good motor to start with.
